Snoring Cure - Cause
Snoring is an annoyance for people sleeping in the same
bedroom or even sometimes in the same house. Snoring can deprive a person of
restful sleep, and can
indicate a serious medical problem called sleep apnea. This occurs when airflow
to the lungs is obstructed, and it can lead heart problems and other health
concerns.
Snoring cause:
The causes of snoring are many and include nasal deformities, including deviated septum;
weak muscles in the tongue and
throat; excess tissue in the neck, which can be caused by obesity; a long soft
palate and/or uvula. Another cause of snoring is stuffed-up nose that occurs due to allergies or a cold.
A cure for snoring can be achieved in some cases by properly addressing the above causes of snoring.
Risk and side effects
Children who snore have more symptoms of depression and anxiety, as well as
attention and language problems. Snoring children are also more likely to have
other sleep problems, such as nightmares, talking in their sleep, or
difficulties going to bed. The Journal of Developmental and Behavioral
Pediatrics, April 2009.
